Category: Not too long ago, I picked up Who Killed Amanda Palmer, knowing virtually nothing about it, save that it was referring to Twin Peaks (for those who have somehow stumbled across this post, it was a TV Series, far too short lived, by David Lynch. The pilot was titled “Who Killed Laura Palmer.” The audience had to wait until the movie, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me was released years later to find out. =( ). I knew nothing about the Dresden Dolls. I had never heard of Brechtian Punk Cabaret, but, um, I wish I had. I find myself totally entranced by her. It’s sort of a “through the looking glass” kind of feeling.
Anyway, I guess she has just finished a North American tour for that album and, well, let me quote her blog on the subject:
